The Club has received an email from the Bletchley Leisure Centre regarding access arrangements that are now in use. Please apply for an access card from Centre reception. Rachel Hirons Admin and Reception Manager writes with more details:
In April 2019 we installed a new entry system at reception, this system requires a new style white card which allows you to scan through at the turnstiles for access. It allows us to control who is entering the centre and make sure everyone is a member or has the correct membership type to allow assess to different areas of the centre.
Entry cards are available at reception and are complimentary, a form needs to be completed at reception and we can issue you with a new card to be able to access the centre freely and easily.
This process is for everyone, this email is specifically for those who block book bowls and those who are part of the bowls club as we have had some issues at reception since the season started again.
Can we ask that you please refrain from standing at the gates and asking reception to open them, this causes a queue and also puts pressure on reception when they have been informed to make sure everyone entering the building has scanned in via their own card or an entry ticket.
If you wish to enter through the disabled glass gate, please inform reception as they can add this gate to your card to allow access for your bowls suitcases etc.
If you do not wish to have an entry card, you will need to go to the receptionist and ask for an entry ticket every time you wish to enter.
If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me, or ask at reception.
Please can you pass this email onto your block booking participants and bowls members.
